Myovision 8000 - Surface Electromyography
Surface EMG is one of the most reliable forms of testing for abnormal muscle activity associated with a chiropractic problem.
This form of testing utilizes sensors which are placed on the skin and detects different amounts of muscle activity.
Why MyoVison?
Myo is Latin for muscle.
At McLeod Chiropractic and Wellness we utilize a specialized instrument called the Myovision to allow us to do a computerized
spinal examination through what is called surface electromyography.
Our MyoVision exam lets us see what your muscles are doing.
It shows the range of motion, muscle tone and blood flow to muscles.
Colors indicate levels of abnormal muscle activity:
Green = Good
Yellow = Marginal
Pink = Bad
Red = Extreme
